PIG-E-ON --

Pig-e-on -- (2022)
is one of six Portraits of Assemblage Creatures, a series of works in which I reflected on the idea that "a bin is not a blackhole" and explored the challenges that are associated with it. Plastic materials (mainly packaging) from the everyday are cleaned, reclaimed and collaged for creating the basis of an image, called the plate. The plate is then manually inked up and pushed through a press, with paper, to create the final artwork.

Medium: Collograph on Somerset white satin 300gsm paper(Acid-Free)

If you choose the framed option, the frame has been custom-made by the artist using reclaimed scaffolding board (cleaned and scrubbed), mounted on acid free mount boards without glass as shown - with variation of the mount board arrangements, making it a doubly unique object.
